My 6030 with new engine Full View
This is a picture of my 1974 model John Deere 6030. I put in a new engine in it this winter. As soon as the weather gets better, I'll take some better pictures.

Thanks for all the nice comments. I'm very pleased with this "lady". She's a real workhorse and perfoms very well in the field

It has the ability to play any position in the field with a weight ratio split 60/40, weighting 23,000 pounds and it set at 270 horsepower,it also proved tough to tackle.

The 6030 JD was a tractor that was flexible enough to play any position on the field when the weight is set at 23,000 lbs and a 60/40 wt ratio is applied along with 270 HP it's "TOUGH to TACKLE !!

Awesome tractor! Did you upgrade to a 619 cubic inch engine? 6030's are my favorite Deere's of all.
